Minor Ailments is a service which is available to all patients’ aged three months or over and registered with a GP.
The Minor Ailments Service includes the following areas:
- Acne Vulgaris
- Athlete's Foot
- Acute Diarrhoea
- Ear Wax
- Groin Area Infection
- Haemorrhoids
- Head Lice
- Mouth Ulcers
- Scabies
- Threadworms
- Oral Thrush
- Vaginal Thrush
- Verrucae
Patients’ can self refer to their community pharmacist for treatment for the above areas but have to ask for treatment under the Minor Ailment Service.
